Wir sehen die Freiheit des/im Internet grundsätzlich erstmal aus der sozialen Blickwinkel (Meinungsfreiheit). Aber es gibt durchaus auch den ökonomischen Blickwinkel (freier Markt) der nicht zu unterschätzen ist.
Fred Wilson hat für seekingalpha.com (ein Wirtschafts- und Börsennachrichtendienst aus den USA) darüber einen sehr interessanten (wenn auch kurzen) Artikel veröffentlicht.

The bigger loss would be to our society which has benefitted mightily from Internet Freedom and will continue to benefit as long as we don’t lock everything down and close everything up.
